ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Orange County, New York, in a small rural community surrounded by woods. The woods were my playground. It was a place to explore, run free, and learn to appreciate the beauty of nature. I have always been intrigued by the creative process and studying its many disciplines. Growing up surrounded by nature has directly influenced my passion for painting landscapes. I enjoy the challenge of capturing its moments, place, and feeling.

I received my BFA from the Maryland Institute, College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, MD. I have had a fulfilling and successful career as a graphic designer for over 25 years. I'm thankful for having the opportunity to work in a creative field. Now it's time to rediscover the art of painting and other creative expressions in their traditional, exploratory, and digital forms.
